From the first inspiration for a new piece of furniture to its final production, countless people are involved: those with the bold ideas and those with the technical perspective, those responsible for rough prototyping and those for precise development, those who craft the pieces and those who transport them.
Since every single step is essential, our furniture is not made by us alone, it is VON DENEN.
The Seemingly Insignificant
The inspiration behind our designs? It comes from carefully observing the simple, everyday details around us. A great example is the wooden wedge: an ancient tool that still holds doors open, prevents round objects from rolling away, and even helps build furniture. For our Lounge Chair Schneidersitz, we have reinterpreted this traditional tool and given it a contemporary expression.
Made in Germany
Good furniture needs time to unfold and develop. We give all our ideas this time; we owe it to them. As soon as we are satisfied with the result and deem it truly good, it is manufactured in German craft workshops.
